Development Summary

HTML

HyperText Markup Language is the standard markup language used to create the structure of web pages. It consists of a series of elements, represented by tags, that describe the content and organization of a webpage. By using HTML, we can define headings, paragraphs, images, tables, and links, among other things.

Environment setup

To write and preview HTML files, we've set up a development environment using the following tools:

• Visual Studio Code (VSCode): A powerful and versatile code editor with built-in support for HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Live Server extension: An extension for VSCode that provides a local development server, enabling us to view our HTML files in real time as we make changes
